As we grow, our statistics will develop, providing you with the most comprehensive insights into the sport. Join us on this exciting journey as we honor the champions of the track! Since camel racing is a global phenomenon, we define a "season" as a calendar year from January to December.

To incorporate an error system for the jockey, deductions can be applied for mistakes or breaches that affect safety, the performance of the camel, or sportsmanship. Here’s a proposed structure for deducting points:

Jockey Error System

  1. Poor Handling or Rough Treatment of Camel:

    • Minor Incident (e.g., improper use of equipment): -5 points

    • Moderate Incident (e.g., causing visible discomfort to the camel): -10 points

    • Severe Incident (e.g., endangering the camel's safety): -20 points (plus potential disqualification for that race)

  2. Late Arrival to the Starting Line:

    • 1–5 minutes late: -2 points

    • 5–10 minutes late: -5 points

    • More than 10 minutes late: -10 points and possible race disqualification

  3. Sportsmanship Violations:

    • Unsportsmanlike Conduct (e.g., arguing with officials or other jockeys): -5 points per incident

    • Interference with Other Racers: -15 points and potential disqualification from the race

  4. Improper Attire or Gear:

    • Missing Required Safety Gear: -10 points per infraction

    • Incorrectly Worn or Unsafe Gear (e.g., loosely worn helmet): -5 points per infraction

  5. Unauthorized Race Strategies or Shortcuts:

    • Minor Infraction (e.g., minor route deviation): -5 points

    • Intentional Shortcutting (e.g., skipping part of the track): -20 points and race disqualification

  6. Camel Health and Safety Infractions:

    • Failure to Ensure Camel’s Condition Post-Race (e.g., neglecting hydration or cool-down): -10 points per race

    • Minor Injury to Camel Due to Jockey’s Error: -15 points

    • Serious Injury or Exhaustion of Camel Due to Neglect: -30 points, plus suspension for future races

These point deductions aim to emphasize safety, professionalism, and respect in the sport, ensuring that jockeys prioritize the wellbeing of their camels and the integrity of the race.
